Weather & Tide Conditions

Bawbawon Beach Resort is governed by the weather which is moderate and pleasant all year round. Normally, the southwest monsoon or “habagat” season usually starts from June to  September and is often characterized by hot and humid weather and frequent rainfall, with a lovely cool ocean breeze and moderate heat.

While the northeast monsoon or “amihan” season begins from  October to late March which is generally associated with cooler weather during the holiday season and expects a shift in the direction of the wind and heavy waves. This is the period also where the island encounters a long period of low tides.

We strongly advise our guests to check with our team the weather and tide condition prior to choosing the date of visit. Guests might need to walk a bit longer when the tide is low. Since the path going back to the boat is rocky, it is not advisable especially for senior citizens and kids to walk since it will require a strenuous effort.
